Feb. 21, 2009

Transcript taken by Solomon Cortes

[10:02] Lincoln Beck: welcome Salomon
[10:03] Sam4 Courtois: Hello Solomon
[10:03] Ashcroft Burnham is Online
[10:05] Solomon Cortes: Hi again, and thanks everyone for coming. I hope our US members all had an excellent President's Day.
[10:05] Solomon Cortes: As we begin this meeting, this is a reminder that it is public, and that a transcript will be posted on the SLBA website after the meeting.
[10:07] Solomon Cortes: I normally try to have what I'm planning to say pre-typed, but please forgive me today as I haven't managed to do so on this occasion. This is partly because I just had a very interesting meeting with someone who may be able to help us (more on this later) - so I didn't get things written down in advance.
[10:07] Solomon Cortes: You'll have to forgive the typos, too!
[10:08] Solomon Cortes: We have a full agenda and I know a number of us need to finish promptly today, so let's move on.
[10:08] Solomon Cortes: Does evveryone have an agenda?
[10:08] TelLagu Swords: No. Sorry.
[10:08] Ida Recreant: yes
[10:08] Solomon Cortes: You should have received a group notice with it earlier today.
[10:08] TelLagu Swords: I'll check my inbox/spam box. Thx.
[10:09] Ashcroft Burnham: I don't think that the notice had an attachment...
[10:09] Ego Essex: You can check your groups under the notices tab. It will be there.
[10:09] Solomon Cortes: np - if you can't find it perhaps someone can drop it in a note card and give it to you.
[10:09] Ego Essex: It just states the agenda.
[10:09] Ashcroft Burnham: Ah. I deleted it, then... :-(
[10:09] Ego Essex: You can't delete it. Go to your groups tab. Then open up your SLBA group, then go to the notices tab. Click on the notice that was sent today and Voila.
[10:10] Solomon Cortes: On the assumption that someone is kindly passing on the agenda to those that didn't get it / deleted it / ate it etc... let's go if we can to item 1

[10:10] Juris Amat: Thnx Lex ;)
[10:11] Solomon Cortes: Legal, you kindly arranged for Matheus Saramago to join us. Would you like to introduce Matheus?
[10:11] Legal Writer: Yes, I would thanks.
[10:11] Legal Writer: Matthew Asbell is a member of the American Bar Association IP Law Section.
[10:11] Legal Writer: His avatar's name is Matheus Saramago.
[10:12] Legal Writer: Matheus, would you like to join me to discuss the proposed reception?
[10:12] Legal Writer: Matheus will tell us about an exciting opportunity for the association.
[10:12] Christiana Wycliffe is Offline
[10:12] Matheus Saramago: Hi everyone.
[10:12] Legal Writer: The IP law section is going to have a reception at its April meeting.
[10:12] Legal Writer: Matheus?
[10:12] Legal Writer: He will describe it.
[10:13] Juris Amat: Hi Matheus, welcome!
[10:13] Matheus Saramago: Please bear with me as this is my first time attending an SL Bar Association meeting
[10:13] Legal Writer: Juris Amat is also involved.
[10:13] Matheus Saramago: and I'm still somewhat of a newbie.
[10:13] Legal Writer: Thanks to Juris and Ben Noble for working with Metheus.
[10:13] Solomon Cortes: Welcome Matheus. Thanks for joining us.
[10:13] Legal Writer: No problem!
[10:13] Lexis Looming: Everyone is at first
[10:13] Matheus Saramago: As Legal mentioned, I am a member of the ABA IP Section.
[10:14] Legal Writer: Thanks!
[10:14] Matheus Saramago: I'm also a member of the SL Bar Association.
[10:14] Matheus Saramago: At our upcoming Spring IP Law Conference in the beginning of April,
[10:14] Ida Recreant: Welcome mat
[10:14] Matheus Saramago: the ABA IP Section will hold its usual Young Lawyers Reception
[10:14] Matheus Saramago: I was asked to be on the committee for planning that reception, and was advised that
[10:15] Matheus Saramago: we would get a couple of Wii's for use at the event, which would have a "gaming" theme
[10:15] Matheus Saramago: I suggested that in view of the growing interest in virtual worlds, perhaps we could include a virtual component to the reception as well.
[10:16] Matheus Saramago: The event will thus be a simultaneous real world and virtual world reception.
[10:16] Michele Jigsaw: nice
[10:16] Ida Recreant: Cool!
[10:16] Matheus Saramago: We have Juris and Ben who will be present in RL and in SL to serve as hosts/liasons
[10:17] Juris Amat: Wouldnt miss it!
[10:17] Matheus Saramago: In the SL part of the event, we intend to hold it at a virtual club.
[10:17] ArtWorld Market: Will you be streaming video in here from the RL event?
[10:17] Ida Recreant: I hope I can make it--what's the date? And must you be an ABA member to attend?
[10:17] Matheus Saramago: Right now, I am in negotiations with Phat Cats, but I have not yet gotten a firm commitment.
[10:17] Legal Writer: So the proposal before the membership today is to approve working with Matheus on cosponsoring this event.
[10:18] Matheus Saramago: At the RL event, we will connect our two hosts' laptops up to projectors
[10:18] Legal Writer: Does anyone have some thoughts about cosponsoring?
[10:18] Matheus Saramago: We will not be streaming the RL event into SL - at least that is not the present plan.
[10:18] Ego Essex: That would be an awesome idea.
[10:18] Solomon Cortes: First - just a quick question: where is the RL event being hosted?
[10:18] Ida Recreant: What does co sponsoring mean? Money, attendance?
[10:19] Legal Writer: Attendance, mostly.
[10:19] Matheus Saramago: The event will be on April 1, 5-7:30 EST (2-4:30 SLT)
[10:19] Legal Writer: And lending our name and logo to it.
[10:19] Legal Writer: And support.
[10:19] Matheus Saramago: The RL event is being held at the Marriott in Arlington, VA
[10:19] Legal Writer: And I would hope we would have a strong turnout.
[10:20] Matheus Saramago: You need not be an ABA member to attend the SL event
[10:20] Ida Recreant: thanks
[10:20] Matheus Saramago: and we intend to have sign-in tables and gifts for participants
[10:20] Lexis Looming: Will people at the rl event have any way to attend in sl if they haven't signed up in andvance and been through orientation? Or will they just watch Ben and Juris?
[10:21] Legal Writer: I think there will be screens where they can watch.
[10:21] Matheus Saramago: We anticipate that most of the RL attendees wil not have much SL experience.
[10:21] Matheus Saramago: So, Ben and Juris will be there as guides/liasons to help them interact with the SL attendees
[10:22] Lexis Looming: perhaps you could promote advance signup in your advertisement and have some laptops available for public use?
[10:22] Ida Recreant: Will there be an introduction to SL? A video, etc. to orient people?
[10:22] Matheus Saramago: Ben and Juris will also talk for a few minutes each
[10:22] Lexis Looming: Public terminals ala Snow crash :-)
[10:22] Matheus Saramago: about SL and their general involvement in SL IP issues
[10:23] Solomon Cortes: I think this is a great idea. scheduling permitting, I'd be happy to participate from the UK if I can. Or would SL only guests not work?
[10:23] Legal Writer: I think the idea is that some would be SL guests only.
[10:23] Ida Recreant: Ditto with solomon--I'd love to attend
[10:23] Matheus Saramago: No plans to provide laptops for public use b/c it is still a RL reception, and we want people to primarily mingle (and drink) :)
[10:23] Legal Writer: I, for instance, will not be there in RL.
[10:23] Matheus Saramago: SL only guests are absolutely wlecome and encouraged
[10:24] Legal Writer: OK, are there any concerns about cosponsoring?
[10:24] Legal Writer: Or are we ok with it?
[10:24] Lexis Looming: I move we co-sponsor by lending our name, logo and support
[10:24] Wendell Holmer: /ao off
[10:24] Legal Writer: Seconded.
[10:24] Michele Jigsaw: second
[10:25] Ida Recreant: I'm certainly excited about the opportunity.
[10:25] Legal Writer: Solomon, shall we call the question?
[10:25] Solomon Cortes: Absolutely - Can all those for please say aye.
[10:25] Michele Jigsaw: aye
[10:25] Legal Writer: Aye
[10:25] Matheus Saramago: aye
[10:25] Lexis Looming: aye
[10:25] TelLagu Swords: aye
[10:25] Ida Recreant: aye
[10:25] Ego Essex: aye
[10:25] Solomon Cortes: (BTW, SLBA members only may vote)
[10:25] Sam4 Courtois: aye
[10:26] Solomon Cortes: All those against, say no.
[10:26] Ashcroft Burnham: Aye :-)
[10:26] Ashcroft Burnham: Oops... out of sync ;-)
[10:26] Juris Amat: aye
[10:26] ArtWorld Market: aye
[10:26] Solomon Cortes: No - I've just seen the time and am pushing on!
[10:26] Solomon Cortes: Abstentions?
[10:26] Rose Springvale: abstain, wasn't here for the discussion
[10:27] Legal Writer: Thank you, Matheus!
[10:27] Solomon Cortes: Carried - and thank you Matheus
[10:27] Legal Writer: I look forward to working with you on this.
[10:27] Baeric Constantine: Abstain too, not present for discussion
[10:27] Matheus Saramago: Thank you all. I appreciate the encouragement and support.
[10:27] Lexis Looming: Thanks to Matheus, legal, Juris and Ben
[10:27] Matheus Saramago: And I'm open to your ideas and suggestions, etc.
[10:27] Solomon Cortes: Will you keep us posted through Legal / Ben / Iuris on how we can participate and be most helpful?
[10:27] Matheus Saramago: Absolutely
[10:28] Juris Amat: Absolutely
[10:28] Solomon Cortes: For timing and other reasons, I'd like to take a few items in the agenda out of order.
[10:28] Solomon Cortes: Legal - would you be able to update us please on incorporation?
[10:29] Legal Writer: Yes, really quickly.
[10:29] Legal Writer: I have spoken with Sarah Duranske, Ben Duranske/Noble's wife.
[10:29] Legal Writer: She is going to provide some forms for the incorporation.
[10:29] Legal Writer: She provided a crucial piece of advice concerning which form of corporation to take.
[10:29] Legal Writer: (Public benefit corporation.)
[10:30] Legal Writer: And then, Geri is going to put together financials for our application for nonprofit status in US dollars.
[10:30] Legal Writer: Unfortunately, I am guessing the IRS doesn't want to hear how many l$ we have. ;-)
[10:30] Ashcroft Burnham: Surely htat's a good thing? ;-)
[10:31] Legal Writer: So, with the data, the forms, and perhaps some advice from Sarah's old firm, I hope to put together the papers for approval by the Exec Board in the next few weeks.
[10:31] Legal Writer: That's it.
[10:31] Ida Recreant: Thanks legal
[10:31] Solomon Cortes: Thanks Legal!
[10:32] Solomon Cortes: Let's move to item 9 - premises
[10:33] Solomon Cortes: As many of you will know, the developer of the space we currently use has ceased to support it, and we need to move on.
[10:33] Solomon Cortes: Currently, we are looking at a number of options.
[10:34] Solomon Cortes: For example, Ben Duranske has just emailed from a conference he is attending to (i) apologise, as he was hoping to log on, but can't, and to let us know he may have a useful lead who can help with alternative premises.
[10:34] Mike Denneny is Offline
[10:34] Solomon Cortes: In addition, by coincidence, as the exec board was assembling for our regular meeting before this general meeting, I met with the developers who built the premises and run the island on which my firm is based.
[10:35] Solomon Cortes: They have also built space for the public law library.
[10:35] Solomon Cortes: Legal, Juris, Lexis and Ida also got to chat with them for a couple of minutes before we came over.
[10:36] Solomon Cortes: They have indicated that they may be willing - provided we pay the relevant tier fee for our space, which I assume will generally be required - that they would be willing to build us new premises.
[10:36] Solomon Cortes: So we do have some options.
[10:36] Ida Recreant: very good work, solomon and ben
[10:38] Solomon Cortes: because time is limited, and we may need to find space before the next general meeting, I would like to move that the membership approve that the exec board be empowered to find the best option for us (taking into account cost, build quality, location, reliability of provider and all other factors that seem reasonable to them) for the SLBA, and take forward apropriate arrangements to secure us appropriate space within our budget.
[10:38] Legal Writer: Seconded.
[10:39] Solomon Cortes: Thanks Legal. All those in favour?
[10:39] Legal Writer: Aye.
[10:39] Juris Amat: aye
[10:39] Ida Recreant: aye
[10:39] Lexis Looming: aye
[10:39] Rose Springvale: aye
[10:39] Sam4 Courtois: Aye
[10:39] TelLagu Swords: aye
[10:39] Michele Jigsaw: aye
[10:39] Baeric Constantine: wye
[10:40] Solomon Cortes: Those against?
[10:40] Ashcroft Burnham: Aye
[10:40] Ashcroft Burnham: (Sorry, too late again...)
[10:40] Solomon Cortes: Abstentions?
[10:41] Solomon Cortes: Then the motion is carried.
[10:41] Legal Writer: I will be sad to see us leave this space. It's been nice. But we need to say goodbye to it. And also, please be on the lookout for an announcement of next month's meeting location.
[10:41] Solomon Cortes: Thank you.
[10:41] Legal Writer: Our next meeting space may be temporary, but the Exec Board will try to resolve this as soon as possible.
[10:41] Solomon Cortes: Yes, I'd like to extend our thanks to Ben and Beathan Vale for making this space available to us over the last year or so. It's served us very well.
[10:42] Juris Amat: hear hear !
[10:42] Ida Recreant: Thanks
[10:42] Ida Recreant: to beathen and ben
[10:42] Solomon Cortes: In terms of the financial report, although Geri can't be with us, this has been posted on the forums.
[10:42] Solomon Cortes: May I suggest that if you have comments or questions, these are raised in the forums?
[10:43] Solomon Cortes: If so, that deals with item 6!
[10:43] You decline Vio Complex E from A group member named Carlito Teardrop.
[10:44] Solomon Cortes: As Geri and Cat aren't able to be with us, I also think that we may have to defer updates on the speaker series, and on credentialing (on the latter, as soon as the web page that Cat is working on is up and running, we're ready to go).
[10:44] Legal Writer: Regarding credentialing, I just wanted to see how this is going.
[10:44] Solomon Cortes: However, if anyone here has any update or question on either topic (or wants to volunteer to be a speaker!) please say.
[10:44] Legal Writer: Does anyone know how many have done it now?
[10:45] Legal Writer: By the way, I paid for credentialing, and have not yet heard back anything on it.
[10:45] Legal Writer: (as a personal note)
[10:45] Lexis Looming: We have three avatars credentialed. A number have paid, but I have not received their applications.
[10:45] Legal Writer: Sounds like my fault. I will contact you offline.
[10:46] Ida Recreant: ahhh I just paid, but didn't send in an app--maybe there should be a note on the box to that effect
[10:46] Legal Writer: Or a note card that comes to you with the app and instructions.
[10:46] Ida Recreant: legla-even better
[10:46] Ida Recreant: oops legal
[10:46] Solomon Cortes: Legal, Lexis, thanks. We should pick up on this. I haven't seen an application, either. Sounds like a slight teething problem. Let's clarify the app requirement.
[10:46] Lexis Looming: Also, I think I will need to get with Cat to make sure we get out a notice where the application can be obtained
[10:46] Tiffany Rowlands is Online
[10:47] Solomon Cortes: Lexis - will you pick up with Cat on this?
[10:47] Legal Writer: And the link can go on the note card!
[10:47] Lexis Looming: That is an excellent idea Legal..Yes I will Solomon
[10:47] Solomon Cortes: Thanks very much.
[10:47] Solomon Cortes: Hopefully Cat / Geri will be able to provide more detail on application numbers etc at the next meeting. But I have to say this is an exciting development for the organization.
[10:48] Solomon Cortes: Thanks again to Lexis and everyone else who has worked so hard to turn it into a real, and useful, virtual offering.
[10:48] Legal Writer: Yes, thank you. It's very exciting.
[10:49] Solomon Cortes: Let's turn to the careers fair.
[10:49] Solomon Cortes: On that, I’m afraid we’re not yet in a position to report progress. This is partly due to the economy (firms are reluctant to commit to hosting a stand, as they may be cutting staff, rather than recruiting them) and partly because I have been so busy over the last few weeks that I have barely had a chance to breathe. I think I need some help – maybe a couple of people to help with the planning of the event so that we can all work together and, if it seems feasible in the current climate, make the event a reality. Perhaps people could let me know if they’d be interested in trying to get this off the ground, now.
[10:50] Ida Recreant: perhpas discuss the idea at the reception--see what "reception" the idea gets ;-)
[10:50] Solomon Cortes: I recal that one of our members, based in the US was also keen to try to make this happen, and we can pick up again over the email - but a couple of other enthusiastic volunteers would be a very welcome addition to the team!
[10:50] Solomon Cortes: Please let me know either here or later if you feel you have a contribution to make and could help put your shoulder behind this,
[10:52] Solomon Cortes: So, we're in the home straight, and turning to some very important work that Legal has been leading: work that will underpin everything we do (and who we, as an organization 'are' and what we want to achieve).
[10:53] Solomon Cortes: Legal - would you like to come and talk to items 7 and 8 on the agenda?
[10:53] Legal Writer: Yes.
[10:53] Legal Writer: The Executive Board has drafted a strategic plan to plot out the future of the association.
[10:54] Legal Writer: A notice went out with the link to the plan in the forums.
[10:54] Legal Writer: I encourage all of you to provide comments to it.
[10:54] Legal Writer: And at the next meeting, I hope I can present the plan to you, the membership, for approval.
[10:55] Legal Writer: It will, of course, be a living document and not set in stone. Changes will be made periodically. But we should approve it to have a stake in the ground.
[10:55] Legal Writer: Thank you for any comments in advance.
[10:56] Legal Writer: And then, one of the key items in the plan is to create infrastructure for the association.
[10:56] Lexis Looming: I want to commend Legal on the incredible job he did on the first draft, and encourage everyone ot reveiw it and make comments.
[10:57] Legal Writer: I know that the association has some incredibly talented people. The Exec Board can't do everything. And so we need people to help out with subgroups to do the marvelous work of the association.
[10:57] Legal Writer: I would ask if you would please consider volunteering for a position in a subgroup.
[10:57] Legal Writer: Right now, we have sections for litigation, transactional matters, IP, education, and law students.
[10:58] Legal Writer: Would you be willing to act as section chair or vice chair?
[10:58] Juris Amat: Are you asking me?
[10:58] Legal Writer: Please write to me via IM or email at swu@ckwlaw.com to let me know if you would like to step up to a position of leadership in a section.
[10:58] Legal Writer: I am asking all of you collectively.
[10:58] Juris Amat: lol
[10:59] Legal Writer: And of course, we can create new sections.
[10:59] Legal Writer: Such as the Section of Virtual Real Property Law.
[11:00] Legal Writer: If you don't have time to be a section chair, then perhaps at least you can do a small project, such as a white paper or agree to post regularly on a certain topic.
[11:00] Lexis Looming: I think the development of sections should flow from our strategic plan, as well
[11:00] Legal Writer: Thanks!
[11:00] Legal Writer: Since time is short, I would ask that you think about it and write me if you can help out.
[11:00] Ashcroft Burnham: What about a virtual world legal systems section...?
[11:00] Legal Writer: Sounds good, Ashcroft.
[11:01] Legal Writer: A Section of Dispute Resolution would be terrific.
[11:01] Lexis Looming: Ashcroft, look at the draft of the strategic plan, where whe have mentioned the promotion of dispute resolutions systems as a goal.
[11:01] Legal Writer: Ok, thanks, Solomon. In the next meetings, I would like to move this process along. It won't happen overnight, but we will move it forward.
[11:01] Juris Amat: yes!
[11:01] Ashcroft Burnham: ADR isn't identical to virtual world legal systems... the latter have their own enforcement mechanisms, whereas the former are simply direct alternatives to existing legal systems.
[11:02] Ashcroft Burnham: (To existing courts, I mean).
[11:02] Legal Writer: It can be "dispute resolution," as opposed to "alternative dispute resolution."
[11:02] Legal Writer: It can cover both kinds.
[11:02] Lexis Looming: Virtual and real
[11:02] Legal Writer: In any case, let's talk more offline.
[11:02] Ashcroft Burnham: Will do.
[11:02] Solomon Cortes: Thanks Legal, for the update, and for the incredible work you have done on helping us develop and formalize a detailed strategy and objectives for the SLBA.
[11:02] Lexis Looming: Good Job Legal!!!
[11:03] Ida Recreant: kudos to legal!
[11:03] Legal Writer: You're welcome!
[11:03] Baeric Constantine: hear hear
[11:03] Ashcroft Burnham claps.
[11:03] Juris Amat: Really inspiring Legal.
[11:03] Juris Amat: Makes one think
[11:03] Solomon Cortes: This is a task of real importance to the association, and one, like many others, that you have taken forwards with huge success and professionalism.
[11:04] Legal Writer: Thank you.
[11:04] Solomon Cortes: On that note, and given the time, I think this is the perfect opportunity for me now officially to hand over to Legal, as your new president. I have, and I know everyone else has, huge confidence in you and your leadership, and we all look forward to working with you over the coming year.
[11:04] Solomon Cortes: I know that we will achieve great things.
[11:04] Ida Recreant: here here!!
[11:04] Solomon Cortes: Legal - over to you!
[11:04] Legal Writer: Thank you, Solomon.
[11:04] Juris Amat: hear hear!
[11:04] Baeric Constantine: hear hear
[11:05] Michele Jigsaw: and thanks to SOlomon for a great job
[11:05] Ida Recreant: And thanks to solomon!!!
[11:05] Lexis Looming: Hear Hear
[11:05] Rose Springvale: bravo Solomon!
[11:05] Legal Writer: I want to officially thank Solomon for doing such a terrific job this past year.
[11:05] sparrow Bolissima claps
[11:05] Michele Jigsaw: /clap
[11:05] Lexis Looming: Congratulations ?Solomon on a very succsessful year
[11:05] Ashcroft Burnham: Welcome, LEgal :-)
[11:05] Ashcroft Burnham: And
[11:05] Ashcroft Burnham claps.
[11:05] TelLagu Swords: /clap
[11:05] Ashcroft Burnham: ...for Solomon :-)
[11:05] Legal Writer: The only way I am able to do these things is to build on the foundation that Ben and Solomon created.
[11:05] Virgil Chronowire: Congrats, Legal
[11:05] Legal Writer: And it is quite a creation. The association is an important, pathbreaking group.
[11:06] Legal Writer: And it is thanks to Ben and Solomon that we are where we are today -- on the cutting edge of law and technology.
[11:06] Legal Writer: I also would like pass along words from Benjamin Noble, who can't make it to the meeting today.
[11:06] Legal Writer: Here is his statement: "I cannot get on from my hotel at the moment, but would very much appreciate it if someone, perhaps Geri or Kate, would add to the record the following: I am so pleased with the mighty strides the SLBA has taken under Solomon's term, and want to offer my personal thanks and gratitude for all of the hard work he put in. This has been a great year for the organization, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with Solomon on SL Bar Association projects in the future. I am also excited about Legal Writer's new term, and know that the organization will be in good hands going forward. Thank you again, Solomon Cortes, and a warm official welcome to your new role, Legal Writer. Thanks, Ben"
[11:07] Legal Writer: And so, Solomon and Ben (who can read this in the transcript), I give you a huge thank you for your service to the association. Please join me in applauding these two visionary lawyers.
[11:07] Juris Amat: applauds loudly
[11:07] Ashcroft Burnham claps.
[11:08] Lexis Looming claps loudly
[11:08] Ida Recreant: claps
[11:08] ArtWorld Market: well done
[11:08] Sam4 Courtois: /applause
[11:08] Baeric Constantine: /applause
[11:09] Solomon Cortes: Legal, everyone, thank you for your kind words. It has truly been a privileger and an honour. I am grateful to all of you for your support throughout the year, and like everyone here, grateful to Ben for the leadership and foresight he showed in establishing this fine organzation. I am tremendously excited about the work and relationships we have to look forwards to in the future, and so will take my seat and leave it to Legal to close the meeting, in great confidence that this is the beginning of another great period for the SLBA. Thank you all.
[11:10] Legal Writer: Thank you, Solomon.
[11:10] Legal Writer: And to all of the members, I thank you for your support to Ben and Solomon in the years past. I hope I can count on your support for this upcoming year.
[11:11] Legal Writer: We have great things in our plan, and I will do my best to work with the Exec Board to make it happen.
[11:11] Legal Writer: Please consider what you can do to help our association move to the next level.
[11:11] Legal Writer: And so, with that, I need to close the meeting.
[11:12] Legal Writer: Thank you all for coming and I look forward to working with you this year.
[11:12] Legal Writer: Please be on the lookout for an announcement of our new meeting spot.
[11:12] Legal Writer: We will meet at the normal time next month - on the second Saturday.
